With Flourish in Peace Ministries, Pastoral Care meets you where you are in life — without judgment, without exploiting your vulnerability and your finances. It is a caring process that graciously ushers you into facing the root cause of the problems and pains; rather than dwelling in the ongoing cycle of seeking temporary relief or contradictory answers. Providing pastoral care and support involves being open, patient, disciplined, and transparent. It requires a willingness to receive honest feedback, even if it is personally triggering.
The essence of pastoral care lies in recognizing that everyone has experienced brokenness, hurt, and loss in life. It also acknowledges that one may have sought help from mentors, therapists, counselors, alternative healers, or other healing modalities, and found their services valuable and helpful. However, there may still be a deep need for resolution within the heart, mind, and soul.
Our role is to facilitate and support your processes, as you have the opportunity to:
- Uncover the root causes of the problems and receive hope and inner freedom. Jeremiah 29:11
- Maintain lasting peace and the restoration of life. Romans 15:13
- Know the truth and the truth will free you. John 8:32
- Know the Good News of Jesus Christ and experience true healing. Proverbs 15:30
- Above all, receive a new and eternal life in Christ Jesus. John 3:36
We prioritize allowing you to learn and grow in your spiritual journey and healing by being grounded in the Holy Scriptures, rather than introducing self-help approaches or recommending ritual practices. We also recognize that there are no one-size-fits-all or quick fixes for hurts and pain, challenging problems, or difficult questions you may face. Therefore, we rely on the power of prayer and appropriate biblical wisdom and counsel throughout the process. We unequivocally know the sufficiency of our Lord God as our source of all we need in ministering and the power of the inspired Holy Scriptures as our resource of answers and appropriately right counsel.

"Before coming to Christ, life appeared as untrustworthy and deeply hurtful. However, I am immensely grateful for the individual pastoral care and counseling provided through this ministry. Florence is an amazing counselor who made me feel comfortable from the start, making it easy to be open and honest with her. She helped me to finally understand the spiritual side of my struggles and how to break free from them. I went to other counselors in the past and literally got nothing from them, only the opportunity to share my feelings. Florence on the other hand was providing me with solutions that I desperately needed for a long time. In the end, she prayed for me. An intense, powerful prayer led by the Holy Spirit in Jesus' name led me to sob unexpectedly.
